In his book ‘The 5 dysfunctions of a team” Patrick Lencioni states that genuine teamwork in most organisations remains as elusive as it has ever been. Organizations fail to achieve teamwork because they unknowingly fall prey to five natural but dangerous pitfalls which he calls the five dysfunctions of a team.
In my own experience both as team leader and member of executive lead teams, I can fully relate to this statement. Hence my desire to help and support teams to understand their pitfalls and how to overcome these. But much will depend on the genuine desire of the team leader to improve the team coherence and to build the trust.

Becoming an authentic, genuine and inspiring leader is the aspiration of many in the corporate world. However, thinking about your own bosses you reported to during your entire career, we typically can remember only a handful of people who actually measure up against this aspiration. Why is this? Why do we have such few role models?
As Simon Sinek describes in his book Leaders Eat Last:
“Returning from work feeling inspired, safe, fulfilled and grateful is a natural human right to which we are all entitled and not a modern luxury that only a few lucky ones are able to find.”
Throughout my career, I’ve met many inspiring and uninspiring leaders. Authentic leaders, and fake ones. All of these experiences have contributed to whom I’ve become.
In my training courses, I want to share these learnings with you. What does it really take to be a great leader? In the workshop you will be able to experiment, learn from each other, and get real cases to work with.
“Let us all be the leaders we wish we had”. (Simon Sinek)”
